So far, so good

The clock on my laptop shows 1:05 am, which means Day 2 at onedotzero_cascade has just come to an end, and feels like a nice moment to share some brief thoughts about the work we've done so far, from a personal perspective that is.

For all of you who may not be quite familiar with the project we're working on, let's catch up: in the past, mankind’s visions of the future were largely optimistic but a decade into the 21st century, seems like there is a propensity for doom and gloom. Well, onedotzero wants the theme of utopia to bring a sense of adventure, hope and positivity about our future world to this years cascade project and onedotzero_adventures in motion festival.

So yes, we're dealing with an exciting but complex topic that can keeps us going for ages, which I think has set us a nice challenge in terms of narrowing down the good number of ideas we have come up with over the last couple of days. Even when there are 10 of us, all with different skills and cultural backrounds, we have managed to converge in a very thought-provoking way. There are many interesting concepts we've been exploring, tech resources we would like to take advantage of and approaches we will need to consider in order to define clearly our final idea.

We're not there yet but we're working on it. And you know what? It feels great.
